MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) possess the capacity to set up the manner in which their supply chain functions within the bounds of disabilities, deception, and banking systems aided by technology injection. Its decentralization and feasibility-filled attractive trailers result in changes that reduce costs, perception-related expenses and trust-related statements. This research paper explores the theories and benefits associated with the MSME supply chain while suggesting directions for future research. It highlights how MSMEs can leverage electronic technologies to build trust, secure financing, and enhance traceability. Additionally, it discusses how using smart contracts in a data marketplace can help eliminate issues related to fluctuating stock levels. However, there are barriers such as regulatory novelty, The presence of technical products and high input costs frequently discourages many MSMEs from entering the market. The aim of this study is to theorize a decentralized supply chain trust model (DSCTM) through prime cost theory (TCT) and resource-based view (RBV). Based on the losses incurred by MSMEs in the food sector, this paper studies the importance of food security in terms of reducing costs and avoiding challenges faced by MSMEs.
