E-commerce industry has evolved rapidly over the years. In the year 2023, the global retail e-commerce sales touched a whooping 5.8 trillion U.S. Dollars (statista,2024). Despite the E-commerce being a dynamic and evolving industry, it suffers from its limitations such as consumer trust on digital platforms, the authenticity of the website or applications, possible financial frauds or scam are some of the most prominent. No tactile experience that is, the customer cannot touch and try how the product would look, especially in case of clothes and footwear, was another disadvantage. But by employing Augmented reality (AR) the e-commerce industries are revolutionizing the global markets. AR is the new technology which by combining the real world with sensory modality produces a 3D model to present the product from varied angles.
