Tyre is an essential part of any type of vehicle, which shall be of premier quality to have a safe and pleasant drive. A large number of vehicles ply on the roads in India. According to the government's statistics portal, India has 220 plus million registered vehicles and research by the various agencies, India ranks in the world's 4th largest market for passenger and commercial vehicles. This paper aims to highlight present scenario of Tyre industry in India and factors that contribute to higher productivity, sales and latest technology in the industries.
