Abstract: The increasing prevalence of anxiety and stress among youth has become a major concern in today’s fast-paced and technology-driven society. Academic pressure, social expectations, career uncertainty, and excessive digital engagement significantly contribute to mental health challenges among young individuals. This study explores the effectiveness of yoga as a holistic approach to reducing anxiety and promoting mental well-being among youth. Yoga, which combines physical postures, breathing exercises, meditation, and mindfulness practices, has gained recognition as a natural and non-pharmacological method for improving psychological health. The study examines how regular yoga practice positively influences emotional stability, stress management, concentration, and overall mental wellness. Through a review of existing literature and theoretical perspectives, the research highlights the role of yoga in lowering anxiety levels by enhancing relaxation, improving self-awareness, and balancing mind-body coordination. The findings suggest that yoga not only reduces symptoms of anxiety but also contributes to better self-confidence, emotional resilience, and quality of life among young people. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the importance of integrating yoga programs into educational institutions and youth wellness initiatives to support mental health development. The research concludes that yoga serves as an effective, affordable, and sustainable holistic practice for enhancing mental well-being and reducing anxiety among youth in modern society.
